Green Bay has found its new special teams coordinator.
The Packers are set to hire Cam Achord as their special teams coordinator, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported Friday afternoon, according to sources.
Achord, 39, previously served as an assistant special teams coach for the New York Giants the past two seasons. When the Giants hired head coach John Harbaugh, Achord was not retained on New York’s coaching staff.
The Packers are now looking to replace Rich Bisaccia after he left the role on February 17. Bisaccia spent four seasons in Green Bay.
In 2025, the Packers averaged 5.6 yards per punt return, which was the lowest in the NFL. Green Bay’s Daniel Whelan set franchise single-season records for gross average (51.7) and net average (43.9).
Achord is the last NFL coordinator to be hired in this coaching cycle.
