Demarcus Robinson, a broad -based recipient in the San Francisco 49ers, is expected to be stopped in the first three games of the NFL period 2025 for violation of the league’s drug policy, Kyle Shanahan on Wednesday announced a KNBR radio.
Agi Robinson is not yet public and is still through the appeal process, according to Tom Pelissero, NFL Network insider.
“You can always bring it so we hope the best in it, but (three weeks) is what we’re planning,” said Shanahan on the knbr.
Robinson’s postponement is due to an extravagant deeds that drive under the influence in November last year when he was a member of the Los Angeles Rams. He subsequently asked no competition for the charge. Robinson, thirty, was sentenced to three years of probation, ordered to pay a $ 390 fine and complete an alcohol education program.
Three games are the usual suspension for Dui’s first break, Pelissero said.
The 49 -men open their season on the road on September 7 against the Seattle Seahawks, then travel to meet New Orleans Saints September 14 and play at home open on September 21 against Arizona Cardinals. Robinson would miss all three games and be eligible for week 4 against Jacksonville Jaguars’ visits.
Robinson was arrested on November 25 after California highways monitored California Surveillance Monetors when Robinson was drawn by the authorities for saying to travel to 100 MPH on US-101 north at 5:13 arrests after a home game on Sunday night.
Robinson is on his way to his 10th NFL season and has signed a two -year, $ 9.5 million deal with 49ers this Offseason.
San Francisco will be his fourth NFL stop, after starting his career as 2016 NFL draft of the fourth round of Kansas City Chiefs. He won the Super Bowl in six seasons with Chiefs from 2016-2021. He played a season with Baltimore Ravens in 2022 and had the rams for the last two years. His 2024 campaign for LA saw Robinson pulling 31 receptions in 505 meters and seven matches – the latter two who stand as a career.
The suspension was expected, but that makes it no less influential for the 49ers national team that deals with the lack of options in the broad receiver room.
Brandon Aiyuk is probably out until at least week 6, which returns from knee injuries over a season, Jordan Watkins and Jacob Cowing are dealing with injury and Jauan Jennings have also been downed, but it is reportedly dissatisfied with his current contract.
