The Falcons ripped through New Orleans’ defense Monday, leaving the Saints scrambling for a healthy linebacker. Now, it’s anyone’s guess whether LB Kaden Elliss will be back for Week 5.
Coach Kellen Moore told reporters Tuesday they’d decide soon if Elliss can practice. He missed all of last week’s drills with a calf strain and sat out the Falcons loss. In my view, his absence snarls their pass rush.
Elliss has logged 24 stops and two tackles for loss over three games this season.
The Saints also were without OLBs Carl Granderson and Anfernee Jennings Monday. Their next test comes against the Vikings in Week 5.
