Sean McVay has built a winning legacy since taking the Rams reins in 2017, yet one rival consistently outsmarts him?
NBC Sports data reveals McVay is 0‑4 against Eagles boss Nick Sirianni.
Sunday in Philadelphia gives McVay a shot at his first victory over Sirianni, while the 1‑2 Rams fight to keep their record from slipping to 1‑3.
The 2023 showdown saw the Eagles topple the Rams 23‑14 in LA, and a year later they repeated the feat, 37‑20. For my money, those losses expose a glaring tactical gap for McVay.
During the 2024 divisional round, the Eagles survived a scare, edging the Rams 28‑22. A season earlier, a last‑second blocked field goal returned for a touchdown handed Philadelphia a 33‑26 triumph.
All told, McVay sits at 1‑6 versus Philadelphia, with the Eagles capturing ten of the past eleven meetings.
Despite being 3.5‑point favorites, the Rams must prove their edge when the game kicks off at 1:00 p.m. ET Sunday. Will they finally break the Sirianni streak?
