The Giants kicked off the week’s first practice without a crucial offensive piece.
Malik Nabers told SNY on Wednesday he felt “little sore,” refusing to specify the area. He claimed he did “as much as I could,” yet the injury report showed he sat out, citing a knee issue.
He didn’t appear worried, but his continued absence could spook the squad before Sunday’s clash with the Commanders. For my money, his missing could cost the Giants early momentum.
Defensive lineman Chauncey Golson (neck), running back Najee Harris (personal), defensive back Jason Pinnock (concussion) and left tackle Andrew Thomas (groin) missed practice. Tight ends Isaiah Likely (knee, groin) and Chris Manhertz (shoulder) plus running back Cam Skattebo (shoulder) were limited. Cornerback Dontae Banks (calf) and offensive lineman Bryan Hudson (ankle) participated fully.
