A hamstring strain will keep Tyrone Tracy out for at least four games, forcing the Giants to tap another team for depth.
GM Joe Schoen confirmed the move, saying New York will bring in running back Gregory Desrosiers from the Chargers’ practice squad.
Desrosiers, an undrafted free agent this year, landed with the Chargers after stints at Louisville, UMass and Memphis over six seasons.
Cam Skattebo and Devin Singletary now sit atop the backfield, while Phil Mafah and Grant Finley remain on the practice squad. For my money, this adds needed versatility. Will Desrosiers earn a role in the Giants’ rushing attack?
