Dallas announced three players are out, yet left guard Tyler Smith may return for Thursday Night Football.
Smith, sidelined all season after thumb surgery, is listed as questionable. He completed a full drill Wednesday—his first since the 21‑day practice window opened—so a debut this year looks likely. For my money, Smith’s health will be a boost if he suits up.
The team confirmed cornerback Cobie Durant (hamstring), linebacker DeMarvion Overshown (hamstring) and tackle Drew Shelton (hamstring) are out.
Wideout Jonathan Mingo entered the report with an illness, missed Wednesday’s practice and is doubtful to suit up.
Receiver CeeDee Lamb (thigh) and cornerback Joey Porter Jr. (ankle) returned to full practice and carry no injury tags. Will his return spark a late‑season surge?
