Chiefs hope to see Rice, Moore back Wednesday

Chiefs anticipate Rashee Rice and Jaylon Moore practicing on Wednesday.Chiefs shed injuries while aiming to rebound from their opening loss.

Kansas City is shedding injuries as it eyes a comeback after its opening defeat. Can the Chiefs turn the tide?

Coach Andy Reid announced at Wednesday’s news conference that both Rashee Rice and right tackle Jaylon Moore are slated to hit the field Thursday. For my money, their return could spark the offense.

Rice missed the past two games and the last fortnight of practice due to hamstring and knee issues. He’s logged 13 receptions for 190 yards and a touchdown in four outings this year.

Moore sat out last week after sustaining a concussion, missing the Seahawks loss that marked the team’s first defeat. Will his comeback help the squad string together victories?
