Aaron Jones hit a full practice on Friday, earning his spot for Sunday’s clash with the Buccaneers.
He missed Wednesday’s session with a knee issue and was limited Thursday, yet no injury tag was listed. So far he’s logged 35 carries for 145 yards and a touchdown this year. For my money, Jones is a key playmaker for Minnesota.
Linebacker Jake Golday (ankle), running back DeeJay Dallas (toe), defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram‑Dawkins (oblique), tackle Brian O’Neill (knee) and defensive end Jalen Redmond (elbow) also escaped injury designations.
Punter Brett Thorson (hamstring) and center Nick Samac (knee) are sidelined. The Vikings added veteran Johnny Hekker to the practice squad and plan to promote him for Sunday. Will his presence tilt the field‑position battle in Minnesota’s favor?
