5:20 pm: Sacramento announced Pedulla’s two-way deal, confirming it on Twitter via James Ham of The Kings Beat.
3:54 pm: Free‑agent guard Sean Pedulla agreed to a two‑way contract with the Kings, agent George S. Langberg told Shams Charania of ESPN (Twitter link).
After going undrafted out of Ole Miss, Pedulla landed with the Rip City Remix last fall. He spent most of his rookie season in Portland’s G League, then signed a two‑year, two‑way deal with the Clippers after the All‑Star break, finishing the year in L.A. The Clippers cut him in August, turning him into an unrestricted free agent.
Pedulla logged seven regular‑season games for L.A., but the bulk of his 2025/26 year came in the G League, where he appeared in 42 contests for the Remix and San Diego Clippers. Averaging 20.3 points, 5.5 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 28.1 minutes, he earned NBAGL Rookie of the Year – a clear sign of his upside.
The 24‑year‑old then signed a two‑year, two‑way pact with Houston ten days after his Clippers release. After training camp and the preseason with the Rockets, he was waived four days ago, just before the season started.
With only three NBA clubs still holding an open two‑way slot, Sacramento eyed backcourt depth after Ben Simmons suffered a torn Achilles. Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report and The Stein Line first linked Pedulla to the Kings. Will he become the missing piece Sacramento hopes for?
