The Cavaliers have inked Jaxson Robinson and Noam Yaacov to training‑camp deals, Spot Up Shot’s Paul Garcia reports via Twitter.
With the roster already full, Cleveland likely cut two of the non‑guaranteed signees—Kadary Richmond, Zack Austin, Rashaun Agee or Curtis Jones—who joined in late September.
Robinson, a 6‑foot‑7 guard/forward, bounced between Texas, Arkansas, BYU and Kentucky from 2020‑25. After going undrafted in 2025, he signed an Exhibit 10 with the Cavs, was waived before the season to collect a G‑League bonus, and spent 2025‑26 with the Cleveland Charge.
He rebounded from a rough NBAGL Tip‑Off showing, posting solid numbers in the Charge’s regular slate. Over 33 games, the 23‑year‑old logged 10.0 points, 2.7 rebounds in 21.0 minutes, shooting 37.3% from beyond the arc.
Yaacov, turning 22 later this month, missed the June draft. The Israeli‑Danish guard logged 17.2 points, 6.0 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals in Belgium’s Oostende, shooting .454/.370/.772 across 46 games (25.6 minutes each).
He reportedly committed to Utah’s program this summer, yet a G‑League stint with the Charge in 2026‑27 seems plausible. For my money, the Cavs could benefit from his playmaking depth. Will he earn a roster spot by next season?
