While many NBA clubs are signing players only to waive them within 24 hours for G League purposes, Stein notes that Miller’s pact includes a genuine training‑camp invitation. He’ll get a look at camp.
Miller launched his college run at Central Michigan, spent a year at Wake Forest, then transferred to SMU in 2024. The 6‑foot‑0 guard exploded in his final season (2025/26), posting 19.1 points, 6.4 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 34.3 minutes per game, shooting .465/.414/.866 across 33 starts, earning All‑ACC second‑team honors.
After going undrafted, Miller joined the Bucks’ Summer League squad and logged five games at the California Classic and in Las Vegas in July. For my money, he could force a reshuffle of Denver’s two‑way roster if he shines.
