The Trail Blazers inked forward Keylan Boone, forward Samson Johnson and guard Mark Armstrong to Exhibit 10 contracts, according to Oregonian reporter Joe Freeman.
After going undrafted in 2025, Boone spent most of last season with the NBL’s Zerofees Southland Sharks and had a short stint with the G League’s South Bay Lakers. The 6‑foot‑8 forward logged five college seasons — three at Oklahoma State and one each at Pacific and UNLV.
Johnson, a 6‑foot‑10 forward/center, finished four years at UConn, capturing titles in 2023 and 2024. Undrafted in 2025, he played for the G League’s Noblesville Boom, the Pacers’ affiliate, averaging 9.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in 21 minutes per game.
Portland’s G League affiliate, the Rip City Remix, reclaimed Johnson’s rights and did the same for Armstrong, a 6‑foot‑2 guard who went undrafted out of Villanova in 2024. He logged 80 G League games over two seasons, including 49 with the Texas Legends in 2025/26, posting 11.9 points and 2.8 assists in 20.5 minutes per contest. For my money, Armstrong’s scoring upside makes him the most intriguing addition.
All three players are slated for the Remix roster, Freeman notes, and can earn bonuses up to $91 K if they remain with the Blazers’ G League squad for at least 60 days. Will any of them crack the NBA lineup next season?
