TMW reports the 24‑year‑old was at home with his wife when he was roused by intruders in Giugliano in Campania.
Thieves fled with jewellery, a high‑value watch and Santos’s car, which police later recovered in nearby Villaricca.
Investigators are combing through CCTV footage to identify the culprits. The incident underscores how vulnerable players can be off the pitch.
Santos had watched his teammates from the stands at Stadio Maradona during the 3‑3 Serie A stalemate with Roma on Saturday.
He’s nursing a hamstring strain and is expected to miss several more weeks.
