The revamped arena that will host both Milan clubs will carry the Generali Stadium name, featuring a sleek basin shape perched atop a raised podium.
While the renderings stay under lock until this evening, the joint press conference at Sforzesco Castle hinted at key design cues.
ANSA reports that naming rights have been sold to insurance powerhouse Generali, confirming the new moniker.
For my money, the Generali branding will boost the venue’s profile, with a prominent sign displayed on the exterior.
San Siro’s transformation begins
Although images remain sealed, officials describe the concept as a bowl‑like structure with steep tiers guaranteeing clear sightlines for every fan.
The stadium will rise from an elevated podium, giving the bowl a commanding height above street level.
The lower tier will split into two curva sections, each offering 11,500 seats for passionate supporters.
Construction could kick off in 2027, aiming for full completion by 2031 so the ground can serve as a host venue when Italy co‑hosts Euro 2032 with Turkey.
