Could Dortmund’s trip to Norway turn into a nightmare? The German side heads north after a win over Villarreal, only to face a hostile crowd at Aspmyra. Bodo/Glimt will lean on its fervent supporters and the stadium’s quirks to spring a surprise. All the details you need to catch the showdown live are below.
The clash is set for Wednesday, 14 October, at 21:00 CET in Aspmyra. Canal+ Live 5 will broadcast the match exclusively across Europe.
Bodo/Glimt vs Dortmund: The German side faces a Norwegian snare
Last season, the Norwegians felt the harsh reality of the Champions League, a 5‑0 drubbing by Bayern Munich that ended with Odin Bjotuft’s red card in the 87th minute. Determined to wipe that memory clean, they’ll count on the chilly home atmosphere, a well‑drilled unit and a league campaign winding down. Across the line, Dortmund arrives as clear favorites, having edged Villarreal 3‑2 thanks to Serhou Guirassy’s double from the spot after Renato Veiga’s own‑goal. In my view, the BVB cannot afford complacency against a motivated Glimt side.
