Giants Te Theo Johnson was in "groove" for injuries at the end of the season, finds "a huge difference" in the 2nd year

Giants in the second year, Theo Johnson, believes he will be in his own.

He began to feel like this in 2024 when he entered the elastic race of his newcomer campaign, only to rob his last five games due to foot injury that needed surgery.

“I found it to be more comfortable I got,” Johnson said at Giants Huddle podcast. “Just finding what it’s like to be in my groove, like now having an idea, as I’ve got these many games under the belt, this is what it has to look like. Just as it was, a man, I could really finish this year be in the right language.

Johnson, who was selected in the fourth round of the 2024 draft, came slowly last season.

He produced only three catch in 37 meters in his first four games, but then he turned in the corner. Apart from week 7 geese eggs on the Stat magazine, Johnson returned at least 30 reception points and three receptions in each game he played over September and at the time his injuries were in 11. His injury had collected 331 meters and contact with 29 catches.

While these figures can be dwarfed by newcomers Sam Laporta Lions in 2023 and Brock Bowers from Raiders last season, these two recordings are a period of deviation.

Johnson represented himself well and with his lessons are intended to have a greater impact in 2025.

“A great, huge difference,” he said when asked to describe himself in the 2nd year compared to last season. “I know what it’s like to be a professional in football now. I was learning when I left a week after a week [as a rookie]. “
