Eagles OC Kevin Patullo says a line was crossed after a home was damaged after a loss

The first-year coordinator, 44, oversees an offense going through midseason struggles. Philadelphia hasn’t scored more than 21 points or recorded at least 350 total yards in a game since Week 9. Through 13 weeks, the reigning Super Bowl champions are 19th in scoring offense, 24th in total offense, 23rd in passing offense and 22nd in rushing offense.

Patullo has been with Eagles coach Nick Sirianni since joining Philly’s coaching staff in 2021. He replaced current Saints coach Kellen Moore as OC this season after being promoted to coordinator of the passing game.

Sirianni confirmed on Monday that Patullo will remain a striker.

“Nick does a great job with all of us as a coach, just preparing us for moments like this and the different mentors you have,” Patullo said Wednesday. “You know the pressure is there, but we all accept it because ultimately we want to be at the top of our coaching career and continue to work through it and this is part of that.

“It’s a challenge but it makes it fun and when you look back you hope you have more good memories than bad. And when you go through the process like that it defines you as a person in your career and not as an individual and not as your family.”

At 8-4, the Eagles are just 1.5 games ahead of the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East.

Patullo and Philadelphia face the Los Angeles Chargers (8-4) on Monday at 8:15 PM ET.
