Chiefs coach Andy Reid brushes aside questions about Chris Jones' recent struggles: 'We all need to do better'

Kansas City Chiefs star defensive lineman Chris Jones hasn’t been his usual dominant player of late, posting two touchdowns in nine games this season.

Asked earlier this week about the perception of Jones’ lack of production, Andy Reid pointed out that the entire front office needs to improve.

“I think we all need to do better, I would say,” Reid said Monday via the team’s official transcript. “Chris is always looking to do better every day. That’s what’s made him such a good player. Again, he’s the guy they’re going to focus on, and if you’re going to get double-teamed, that’s the guy who’s going to get double-teamed. He’s going to get his due as we go forward, it’s just important that he stays consistent and continues to work hard.”
