JK Dobbins’ foot injury will end his first season in Denver prematurely.
The Broncos quarterback will require season-ending surgery on his foot injury, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Saturday.
Dobbins, who has ligament problems in his foot, sought the opinions of several specialists before ultimately deciding on surgery, according to Rapoport and Pelissero.
The veteran RB was initially thought to be shelved for the foreseeable future on injured reserve. Instead, Dobbins’ first year with the Broncos ends after 11 games.
Around the NFL will have more on Dobbins’ injury soon.
