Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix broke his ankle in their 33-30 victory over Buffalo in the Division One and will miss the rest of the season, coach Sean Payton told reporters.
Payton said Nix suffered the injury on the penultimate play of the overtime period.
Nix will undergo surgery this week to repair the injury, according to Payton.
The Broncos head coach also said backup QB Jarrett Stidham will fill Nix’s void in next Sunday’s AFC Championship game.
