Broncos WR Marvin Mims: ‘We’re all expecting a Super Bowl this year’

Broncos WR Marvin Mims: 'We're all expecting a Super Bowl this year'

Since arriving at Mile High as a second-round pick in 2023, Mims has made the most of the opportunities he’s been given. Head coach Sean Payton has used Mims as a Swiss Army knife, using the Oklahoma product as a wideout and specialist.

In his first three seasons in Denver, Mims had 98 receptions for 1,202 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in 48 games. Mims also made two Pro Bowls as a return specialist, leading the league in yards per punt return (15.7) in 2024 and punt return yards (452) last season, respectively.

Even though the Broncos have a loaded WR room with Courtland Sutton, Waddle, Troy Franklin, Lil’Jordan Humphrey and Pat Bryant, Mims is ready for any opportunity that comes his way despite the roster changes.

“For me, it’s just answering the door when the bell rings,” he said. “I feel like I’ve done pretty well the last three years, but when I get my opportunities, make the most of them. Be a good teammate and help the team in as many ways as they want. This year, the team we have, the group we have, how far we went last year, we’re all looking forward to the Super Bowl this year.”
