2026 NFL Draft: Seahawks pick Notre Dame RB Jadarian price at No. 32 in total

2026 NFL Draft: Seahawks pick Notre Dame RB Jadarian price at No. 32 in total

Love’s Notre Dame linebacker showed NFL traits in limited reps over four college seasons. Despite not registering a single start, Price had 1,692 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns in 41 games over the last three seasons. On seemingly any other program, he would have been No.

The 5-foot-10, 203-pound low-pad runner boasts excellent balance and vision, rushing through the hole and making defenders miss in space. Price is quick to read and his communication balance allows him to break tackles and always finish forward. He’s a smooth runner who loses little momentum on cuts and quickly gets into high gear, blasting past defenders.

In four seasons, Price caught the 15-plus touchdown mark just once in 41 games, giving him little wear on the tires, but adding to questions about his workhorse ability. He also had a penchant for rebounding the ball outside, looking for big plays and showing fumble concern, coughing the ball up the goal line multiple times in 2025. Lack of pass sense — just 18 career targets — is also a question heading into the NFL. However, he showed some promise in pass protection, which indicated an uptick in that area.

Not only does Price bring running ability, but he’s also a special weapon, returning two punts for touchdowns in 2025. In just 22 career returns, he had three. How the Seahawks employ him and the returning Rashid Shaheed will be a very good problem for the Seahawks special teams.

Price, a hard-hitting back, can replace Walker while showing signs of Walker’s former sidekick, power back Zach Charbonnet, whose season-ending ACL injury suffered in the playoffs has put him on an uncertain timeline for the 2026 season.
