The Eagles trade safety Sydney Brown to the Falcons in the second round

Philadelphia’s minor league continues to undergo changes for the 2026 season.

The Eagles are sending safety Sydney Brown to the Atlanta Falcons in a trade that includes the exchange of multiple second-round picks, according to NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo.

Philly will receive the fourth (No. 114) and sixth (No. 197) picks in the 2026 draft from Atlanta in exchange for Brown, the fourth (No. 122) and sixth round (No. 215), according to The Insiders.

Following the Browns’ trade to Atlanta, Rapoport reported that the Eagles are bringing back safety Marcus Epps and have agreed to terms with veteran safety JT Gray. Both are one-year deals, according to Rapoport.
