Dolphins trade WR Jaylen Waddle to Broncos for draft picks, including 2026 first rounder

Bo Nix has a new target in Denver.

The Denver Broncos are acquiring Jaylen Waddle from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for first-, third- and fourth-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported Tuesday, according to sources.

Along with Waddle, Miami is also sending its 2026 fourth-round pick to Denver in exchange for three picks, according to The Insiders. The contract is pending physical.

Waddle, 27, was the Dolphins’ first-round pick in 2021 and produced three straight 1,000-plus yard seasons to start his career. The speedy tackle had 64 receptions for 910 yards and six touchdowns in a tumultuous 2025 campaign in Miami that saw Tyreek Hill injured for the season, Tua Tagovailoa benched and head coach Mike McDaniel fired.

Around the NFL will have more on this trade shortly.
