In his first season with the Falcons in 2024, Mooney nearly missed his second career 1,000-yard receiving season by sharing 64 catches for 992 yards and five touchdowns with Kirk Cousins and Michael Penix.
With the Falcons switching quarterbacks from Cousins to full-time starter Penix, Atlanta didn’t see a receiver reach 1,000 yards in 2025 due to inconsistent play under center. Mooney’s 2025 line took a dip as he caught 32 passes for 443 yards and one score.
Mooney will now get to work with Dart, Malik Nabers, Cam Skattebo and Isaiah Likely in John Harbaugh’s first season in New York.
