Army CB Marshon Lattimore Arrested in Ohio on Weapons Charge

Washington Commanders cornerback Marshon Lattimore was arrested in Ohio on Wednesday night on weapons charges, according to Lakewood (Ohio) police records.

Lattimore was charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle — a felony — and carrying a concealed weapon, according to police records.

Lattimore, a native of Cleveland, was arrested on the 11700 block of Clifton Blvd. in Lakewood, about four miles west of downtown Cleveland, at 6:14 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

The military said in a statement: “We have been made aware of the arrest and are gathering additional information. We are in communication with the NFL office and have no further comment at this time.”

Lattimore, who is 29 years old, just finished his ninth season in the league. In his first full year with the Chiefs, the veteran cornerback started all nine games he played, with 27 tackles, seven passes defensed, a fumble recovery and an interception. Lattimore suffered a torn ACL in Washington in Week 9 and missed the rest of the campaign.

Lattimore, who was acquired from the Saints in the 2024 midseason trade, has one year but no guaranteed salary remaining on his contract in Washington.
