Philip Rivers has no regrets about returning from a five-year layoff, despite the Colts going 0-3 in their opener after Sunday’s 23-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
“I told you guys I wouldn’t regret coming back and I won’t,” Rivers said, via ESPN. “Other than us not winning … it’s been a blast for three weeks. If I go back and say, ‘OK, now you know everything’s going to happen, what are you going to do?’
“I thought the last one was walking off the field in Buffalo or walking up the tunnel,” he said. “And I felt good about it. And that one brought tears for the next few days. And I was satisfied that it was the last one. So, sure if it’s [the last game]I got three bonus games that I never saw coming and couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity.”
