Mark Sanchez, former NFL team manager and current Fox Sports analyst, is in constant condition after being stabbed early on Saturday morning in Indianapolis, according to Tom Pelissero, NFL Network insider.
“Mark Sanchez was injured in Indianapolis on Saturday and is now recovering from the hospital in stable condition,” Fox Sports said in a statement. “We are deeply grateful for outstanding care and support. Our thoughts and prayers have a goal and we ask that everyone respect his privacy and his family at this time.”
Sanchez was in Indianapolis to call the Raiders-Colts game Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium, on Pelissero.
Sanchez, 38, has worked at Fox Sports as an expert and radio station since 2021.
Sanchez spent 10 seasons in the NFL before starting his radio career. New York Jets chose Sanchez with selection no.
After five seasons with the Jets, Sanchez had Philadelphia Eagles (2014-15), Denver Broncos (2016), Dallas Cowboys (2016), Chicago Bears (2017) and Washington (2018) before announcing retirement.
