Bowers originally injured his knee in Week 1 in Las Vegas on Patriots, a game where he delivered 103 103 meters on five catch (20.6 meters per reception).
He missed two exercises on the eve of week 2 and received a dubious nomination before playing and then went into both week 3 and 4 without nomination. This week, however, Raiders chose to keep Bowers from exercises on Thursday and Friday to give him more rest in the hope that he would be ready to face Indianapolis.
It turned out to be predicting Bowers out on Sunday too.
Although Raiders’ season is getting tangled on Edge at 1-3, Bowers is getting healthy in the long run.
He is on average 8.7 meters per catch in 122 meters on 14 receptions over the past three games, but hardly looked like he himself and Bowers admitted Friday that his knee had an impact on his game.
“It’s painful, sore, just annoying [and] Frustrating because I want to be back in full strength and go full speed, can separate from boys, “he said, through Ryan McFadden, Espn.” I feel like I can’t really do it to the best of my ability now. “
After Sunday’s game against Indy, Las Vegas has two more competitions – against the Titans and then Chiefs – for week 8. Bye.
Raiders will hope to have bowers available for that deficit.
For a while, they face the Colts (3-1) in the enemy territory at 1 pm.
