Worthy was a limited participant in the exercises last week, but KC broke with caution and kept speed chess on the sidelines. The Wideout was a full participant in exercises this week and took care of his return. Worthy has no nomination in Kansas City’s final report.
Reid was asked what he saw from the first recipient during exercises this week.
“Fast. He was running fast,” he replied. “We are not worried about his feet, right? This was an injury in the upper body, so he has managed to stay in good shape and ready to go. He looked good, what we asked him to do there.”
Worthy will immediately run for a role for Patrick Mahomes against Ravens, in a fracture that has struggled to find the foot this season. Mahomes has not yet thrown 260 meters in any game this season.
Worthy won 59 catch for 638 meters and six contact surfaces in 17 games in 2024.
