RB Austin Ekeler's officers: Jayden Daniels 'exceeded expectations' in 2024, but will show "more growth this year"

Whether he was with air or land, Jayden Daniels returned in every way during the historically successful newcomer 2024.

Daniels was so brilliant that former Austin Ekeler teammate admits he was even surprised.

Perhaps it is more unexpected that Ekeler believes that Daniels will be an improved version in his second campaign in the NFL.

“He certainly exceeded expectations,” Ekeler said in a recent Sirius XM NFL radio interview. “I think it’s good, not that I have little expectations for him, but you don’t really know.

“So I think with team leaders who come in and I’ve been long enough to know how much they have on their hard drive, there are many things they need to adapt. It’s a lot, especially learning a new playbook and getting into a new organization and you were another overall choice and a lot of high expectations. It was like,” Now go out and have been sewing with a MVP scale and where you are competing in these conversations, usually you don’t get it from the players.

Washington got it from Daniels, though he sparkled to 3,568 meters and 891 rushing meters and became the first newcomer to exceed 3,500 and 800 fashioned thresholds. His part was a rookie QB record like his 69.0 final ratio. Daniels had 31 contact (25 teams, six rush) in the usual season, with the Washington team manager in a 12-5 record for the first win season since 2012. Everyone ahead of Daniel’s flight in Washington in the first game of the NFC Championships from 1991.

Ekeler hardly thinks Daniels are alone and done. He believes that the best thing is still to be the winner of Heisman Trophy 2023 and 2024 NFL draft no. 2 choices.

“I think there will even be more growth this year, which is great because we have our team and have a lot of players again,” said Ekeler.
