Shemar Stewart, Bengals' first player, sounds in prolonged disputes over contracts

Stewart is on Minicamp, but he told reporters on Tuesday that he will not participate in work on the scene until he is signed.

“I still go to a meeting. I still learn my playbook,” said Stewart. “Taking down the right notes and then when I get free time I go out to train.”

Texans A&M Edge Rusher said he “can’t say” what he really wants about his negotiating situation but it is clear to get on the field.

“It’s very important,” he said of work outside the season. “You have to get your body pretty ready to play football, especially I come from college. NFL is a way of physical game, even though I played in SEC, which is very physical. Nothing compares to playing in the NFL. I thought I was on the field now.”

Stewart stated that he could still have been in shape, but he feels “like” getting a little after the physical aspects of the transition to the NFL, even though he is able to monitor the spiritual part.

It is not an ideal start that all newcomers are looking for, especially like Raw and Stewart. However, he said that effort did not poison its thoughts about the organization.

“I’m not going to say that. I’m still new here. We still have a long future ahead,” said Stewart.

The Bengals have two more days of mandatory minicamp before breaking for the summer.
