According to Pro Football Focus, Leggette was mapped with eight drops on 81 targets, leading 49 shipments in 497 meters and four matches. His 14.0 reduction percentage, at PFF, was in third place among players with at least 75 targets.
His goal in 2025 is to focus on nailing this negativity, but he does not let it over the counterpart. Legette said to take responsibility for the drops, such as against Philadelphia, was part of the development process.
“I wouldn’t say it was more difficult (on myself) than I had to be,” Legette said. “I mean, I cost us these games.”
Legette is part of a fairly crowded receiver room in Carolina. Tetairoa McMillan, the first player, Legate, Elder Adam Thielen, newcomer to the sixth round Jimmy Horn Jr., Jalen Coker, and elder David Moore are all competing for representatives. If Legate is to remain one of the top three targets, he must be more stable than his newcomer campaign.
