Mack, a member of the decade, with nine pro bows, including one for each of its three seasons as a charger-has definitely set the usual value to chase.
However, it is not like Tuipulota is not familiar with playing in par with his 34 -year -old teammate as this phase of Mack’s career, nor is he new in the starting lineup.
Second Rounder 2023 already led Los Angeles in sacks last season and was 2.5 more than Mack for 8.5 career. He has started more than not in each of his two campaigns, 11 in 2023 and nine in 2024, good for 20 starting in 34 games played.
Those who start nodding came mostly following the Bosa injury, which gives the young passing critical experience, but it would be understandable if going on a season of week 1 boot tab after the release of Bosa, new feelings.
This is not the case for Tuipulotu, which is days in training camps as sports the same attitude as always.
“I feel like every year I come in, it has to be a big year,” he said. “It was my mindset last year and it will be the same mindset that comes in this year.”
Tuipuloto added: “To be honest, I have started since my newcomer year, last year and if it is my role this year it will feel the same.
To approach the game the same, day in and out, has served tuipulotu well so far. A little two months ago shy at his 23rd birthday, he has 13 sacks in the career with 29 QB hits and three forced fumbles. His production has been there from the beginning. Now, with a rooted role, leadership has followed.
“I think he got a lot of personality, he has a great atmosphere for him,” said Jesse Minter, defense officer, about Tuipulotu. “Kids like to be around him, guys like talking to him, guys don’t care when he speaks every now and then.
“He is stepping into that kind of role and finally I just want him to be himself. If he is the best version of himself, we will be happy with what we get out of it.”
