If the Jaguars lead the NFL in everything in 2025, it could be effort.
At least, it is the mood that comes from the first season of those spent under Liam Coen. The theme of most of each interview that involves their strikers has been aimed at avoiding lack of responsibility and keeping their feet on the punishment of fuel in the new campaign.
Team manager Trevor Lawrence joined that squad when he spoke at the American Century Championship last week, focusing especially on his new teammate, Travis Hunter.
“Travis has been great – just his work ethic, how he has come in,” Lawrence said through Jamal St. Cyr from WJXT in Jacksonville. “He has been one of the most difficult guys we have. I think it is a commitment to learn the playbook and try to learn the two systems. There is a lot of novice, it is challenging to learn everything and he has done a good job.
“We still have a job to do and we’re going to do a lot in training camps and get ready to play in September. I’m really excited for him and how he can help our team.”
