In Oslo, Ramos started ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and delivered the winner, giving Portugal a 2‑1 triumph over Norway.
He posted on Instagram: “Great victory! Come on Portugal.”
Ramos capitalises on Nyland error
João Félix gave the hosts the lead after 20 minutes, but Erling Haaland equalised six minutes into the second half, tapping in from Patrick Berg’s header. The advantage lasted three minutes before Orjan Nyland slipped a pass to Ramos, who chipped it into an empty net for his 12th cap goal.
Nyland’s second mistake almost produced another chance, yet VAR ruled it out for a narrow off‑side. Portugal have now won both opening Nations League games, topping Group A4 and snapping Norway’s 14‑match home unbeaten streak.
The strike arrives as Ramos, who joined Milan this summer as Ruben Amorim’s focal point, has netted once in Serie A—a return that has drawn scrutiny despite praise for his link‑up play. For my money, Ramos is already proving his worth in Milan.
