“You hate to say it early, but what he went out and did tonight was everything I expected from him to go out and make it based on how he has played in a training camp,” said Drew Lock, team manager. “Just really, a really trustworthy player. Teaching the right way. Goes up and getting a catch. And when the ball gets in his hand, he makes the plays. A lot of praise for the rookie. He still has a long way to go. He is on the right track and he works hard.
Horton’s roster is secure at this stage. The question now is whether he can earn legitimate playing time and possibly sipped by representatives from MVS. If an injury strike – especially given the history of Kupp – Horton could find himself a key role this season in Seattle.
