Tom Brady teases 'at least one game' with WWE, hits Logan Paul

With the magnificence in his right hand, Tom Brady won seven Super Bowls in an NFL career filled with unparalleled success.

On Thursday at Fanatics Fest in New York City, the 48-year-old five-time Super Bowl MVP, current Las Vegas Raiders minority owner and FOX analyst said he would consider participating in a WWE match.

A day later, he used his right hand synonymous with Super Bowl glory to slap social media influencer and current WWE wrestler Logan Paul in the face.

“I need an invitation, I’ve been waiting.” [WWE president] Nick Khan to come up with some storylines for me to get in the mix,” Brady said Thursday when WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes was asked about a possible WWE involvement. “I feel like I’m retired from football, and I have a chance to go out, still show that I’m a little athletic.”

The fallout was predictable, with speculation about the reality of the incident.

Paul has said he will target Brady. Speculation has been rife as to whether Brady will indeed consider following in the shoes/boots of his former teammate Rob Gronkowski and others like Lawrence Taylor and William the Refrigerator Perry as NFL players to occasionally play with the WWE (formerly the WWF when Taylor and Perry joined).

“You know, my boy Gronk has done it, I’ve seen, obviously Logan Paul do it, I think I could get in there for at least one game, right?” Brady said Thursday to Rhodes. “Come on Nick, make it happen.”

A day later, Brady and Paul faced off on the Fanatics stage, losing with Paul saying that if Brady returned to Fanatics Fest next year, Paul would “hurt him” before Brady unleashed a right that seemed real enough, but from many opinions and perspectives, it seems more and more strained.
