Star Tampa Bay Buccaneers had Trackle Tristan Wirfs had a knee surgery earlier this month, which could knock him beyond the beginning of the 2025 season. Todd Bowles, however, is not ready to admit that the blind side defense of Baker Mayfield could miss a clump time.
Talking to Joe Buc’s fan caused Bowles optimism about Wirf’s supply early in the season.
“That I can’t tell you,” Bowles replied when it was pressed if Wirfs could be ready Week 1. “I just know he will be ready until later. I don’t know if it’s week 1, 2, 3.
By announcing a training camp on Tuesday, they could put WirF on active/physically incapable of implementing a list, which would enable them to activate the star at any time in training camps and the front page. If he is on the reserve list/PUP after a final cut, he would be forced to miss at least the first four weeks.
The first reports around the WirF’s knee surgery indicated that the beginning of the puppy’s period was a likely operation. However, comments of the bowels add a layer of optimism that he could be ready for them.
Regardless of how much time WIRF could miss in a normal period, Bowles believes that the NFC South champions are ready to weat the storm.
“Obviously, there have been talks since the season ended and for healing,” Bowles said when asked if the injury was abused by the club’s medical teams or a player. “And [the medical staff and Wirfs] Each other decided to do the action. Sometimes when you let things heal, they do not heal the right way. It’s just part of it.
“It’s just like going to it in fourth place. Either you get it or you don’t. Either heal it or it doesn’t and you have to undergo surgery. But there was a lot of communication through and Tristan is in a great spirit now.
“Unfortunately it’s one of our best players. But we’ve been without Mike [Evans]. We’ve been without chris [Godwin]. We have been without know [Vea]. We have been without [Calijah] Kancey. We have been without [Antoine] Winfield. We have been without kids and come through. We even played without dealing with Luke [Goedeke] last year and we had to have it [Justin] Skull, so this will be a condition for [OT Charlie] Heck or someone else to step up in a tackle and hold the fort until it returns. “
Heck is expected to do the job for WirFs until he returns from injury.
