Titans who seek to relieve the load RB Tony Pollard by 2025

Tony Pollard carried the lion part of the load during his first season in Tennessee and put the career high with 260 opportunities and 1,079 meters to take five matches. Coach Brian Callahan wants to sip some of these tapes in 2025 to keep the change back fresher.

“He was fighting with the second half of the year,” Callahan said of Pollard through the team’s official website. “But I think in a perfect world this is a healthier division of labor. I think he ended up carrying the ball a lot. He was our most productive running again. And then Tyjae (Spears) was also an early injury.

“So, I really like both of these players a lot. I think we can do a better job of managing that stress so they both play a little more equally and allows us to have a place for the third back between Julius (chestnut) and Kalel (mulling), some heavier style again and runner.

When Pollard signed in Tennessee from Dallas, the question was whether he could continue to be the main horse while holding the bombing. The 28-year-old could reach its third 1,000 plus campaign in a row, but as in his final year with the cowboys, the explosive plays were down from their Pro Bowl campaign in 2022.

Last season, Pollard 13 dash of 15 plus meters for 26.1 offenses, per football focus. It is from 11 and 21.6 in 2023 but decreased from 19 and 43 percentage points in the career in 2022.

The idea is to reduce Pollard’s load to keep him fresh in the hope of clicking a few more big games. If Spears, who played only 12 games, is healthy and one of the bigger back guards can show a consistent newcomer, the mullings of taking some of the worn of a seven-year professional. Pollard is not opposed to sharing representatives.

“What way can we contribute to the success of the team,” said Pollard. “To participate more kids, keeping boys fresh, whatever it is going to keep us winning games and keeping boys fresh throughout the season, it’s ideal.”
