Tennessee Titans cornerback L’Jarius Sneed was charged Tuesday in Dallas County (Texas) court with failure to report a fine stemming from a December 2024 incident.
Sneed, 28, is accused of failing to report a felony during an incident in which he saw that “serious bodily injury or death could have resulted, ie aggravated assault,” according to Dallas County Clerk records.
Failure to report a felony involving serious bodily injury or death, with which Snead is charged, is a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of up to $4,000 and/or a year in county jail.
The incident in December was an alleged shooting at a car dealership.
Sneed, a native of Louisiana, was selected out of Louisiana Tech in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He played four seasons with the Chiefs and won two Super Bowls. He was traded to the Titans for the 2024 campaign.
Sneed has 26 tackles and three pass breakups in seven starts this season. He was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 23 with a quadriceps injury and has not played since Week 7.
