The New York Giants are firing head coach Brian Daboll after a 2-8 start to his fourth season in New York, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport on Monday.

Offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will be the interim manager, Rapoport and NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo added.

Daboll compiled a 20-40-1 record in his three-and-a-half seasons with the Giants, a career that began with the promise of a 2022 postseason berth.

The Giants lost their fourth straight game on Sunday in Chicago.
