The Dolphins found their new offensive coordinator from within their coaching ranks.
Miami is expected to promote passing game coordinator Bobby Slowik to be its next offensive coordinator, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported Saturday afternoon.
Slowik, 38, joined the Dolphins in 2025 after serving the last two seasons as the Houston Texans’ offensive coordinator.
During his time as Houston’s OC, Slowik helped Texans quarterback CJ Stroud to a stellar rookie season in 2023, which led to an AFC South division title, a division tour appearance and Stroud’s Offensive Rookie of the Year award. As a player, Slowik ranked in the top 12 offenses and ranked seventh in the passing offense in 2023.
