The NFL has revealed the crew for Super Bowl LX.
Shawn Smith will officiate the final game of the NFL season beginning Sunday, Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
This will be Smith’s first Super Bowl assignment on the field (11th in the playoffs) and therefore his first Super Bowl game as a referee. He is in his 11th NFL season and eighth as a referee, according to Football Zebras.
Smith was the referee in the victory of the New England Patriots against the Houston Texans in the League Cup.
Smith will be joined by umpire Roy Ellison and umpire Eugene Hall, who have three Super Bowls under their belts; back judge Greg Steed (two); down referee Dana McKenzie (one) and linesman Julian Mapp, field judge Jason Ledet and replay judge Andrew Lambert, who are also making their Super Bowl debuts.
The big game will pit either the New England Patriots or Denver Broncos from the AFC against the Los Angeles Rams or Seattle Seahawks from the NFC.
