Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense came to the right on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns and posted their long game the most advanced game that came out of Bye Week.
Pittsburgh had given up 24.5 points a game through his first four games, but the aging defense appeared to be a fresh Sunday against the wanting of Browns break and partying at Dillon Gabriel for six sacks in the Steelers’ victory in Cleveland.
The Steelers defense was known for giving newcomer problems and had the head in the third round from Browns, which turned a lot of the race and brought pressure from all perspectives but finally filled the run after jumping early this season.
Steelers created six sacks, 14 QB hits and 24 pressure for the 6th week, throughout the season or tied for the season in play for Pittsburgh. 14 QB hits were bound most of any team during this season.
The highlight of the Sack party was the 30-year corner of Jalen Ramsey, who sprung from the edge to run Gabriel, not even, but twice. He got Browns QB late in the first quarter, then a former soldier jumped down a newcomer to the label late in the fourth quarter. It was Ramsey’s first multi -mirror game in 10 seasons. He had had three total sacks in 139 games in the career.
“I’m probably going to tell my kids about this,” Ramsey said through ESPN. “I played in a game with TJ Watt and Myles Garrett and had two sacks. It’s crazy.”
