Sheedeur Sanders, fellow Browns Newcomer QB Dillon Gabriel makes most of the unexpected situations: "We are truly cool"

Gabriel, who was regarded as some of the 3 choices that Browns took early, took over the situation when he talked to a newcomer minicamp, happy that the two could “learn from each other.”

Sanders agreed and stated that they were “certainly” learning from each other.

Gabriel, 24, and Sanders, 23, have similarly similar to their roads in the most unconventional Browns QB room.

Gabriel played for three colleges – Central Florida, Oklahoma and Oregon – in six seasons. His final year saw him throw for 3,857 meters and 30 contact as older for the duck and earned the Big Ten striker of the year.

Sanders played for two colleges – Jackson State and Colorado – in four seasons, all with their father and Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders as his head coach. His final year saw him throw for 4,134 meters and 37 contact surfaces as older for Buffaloes and earned Big 12 striker of the year.

Now they have gathered in Cleveland, part of the QB room that includes former soldier Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett, not long ago that hopefully QB’s right to vote in Pittsburgh Steelers.

Sanders has also kept in touch with his former teammate Gabriel while sailing around his first stage of his NFL career along with his new Colorado teammate Travis Hunter, who was taken second in the draft of Jacksonville Jaguars.

“Just be focused is the main thing,” Sanders said of what he and Hunter talk about. “But we both know it, so we just look in to make sure we both go.”

To make progress is a priority no. 1 for Sanders, which is cast from the prospective first round to landing in Cleveland as the fifth round was the very main story of the draft.

He finds himself in the QB room – combined, according to Sanders – which could or could eventually not include the injured Deshaun Watson. Without Watson, it is still quite a selection.

It’s 40-year-old-Flacco-with Super Bowl MVP again.

There is 2022 selection in the first round-pickett-on its third NFL project file.

There is a pair of rookie taken in the third and fifth rounds of the 2025 NFL draft.

The fifth competitor is looking to build chemistry in Cleveland, do his best to focus on his future with Browns and take advantage of being in a QB room that no one could have expected.

“I have mostly just focused on the team, everyone around me, the coaches on the team,” said Sanders. “I haven’t really been on my phone much or talked to many. I don’t even talk to my family. It’s one of those situations where I just have to lock inside, be focused on what’s there now.”
