Riq Ull Seahawks knows that his job is not guaranteed after a rough outing in week 1: "Don't finish the test"

For the average viewer, Seattle’s heartfelt loss to San Francisco could have been attached to one player: Seahawks cornerback Riq Woolen.

At least, if they went over the key hours, Woolen was to blame. Pro Bowler 2022 gave up a 45 -meter finishing to 49ers Ricky Pearsall only after he stopped running with the receiver and gave the second year room to make a significant grip at a huge moment in the game. And in the decisive play (except for the game-end Red Zone Fumble from Sam Darnold), Woolen seemed to be in a great position to play on the Brock Purdy gap designed to a dense end Jake Tongs in the end area.

When the ball floated towards tongues, wool jumped and reached what was almost certainly becoming a saving interception.

Tongs ended by reaching wool to tear the ball out of the air for just a third reception of the career and game poet.

“It’s like I’ve done 98% in a quiz and I just didn’t put my name on it, and I got 2% taken because I didn’t finish the exam,” Woolen said on Wednesday through the press release, “or didn’t draw attention to detail. As something little to put my name.”

In the NFL, the details can make a difference between winnings and losses – and between maintaining work and sitting on the bench. Wool now seems to face the latter, especially after Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald crossed the reel and glowed over the performance of another corner, Joshua Jobe.

“I thought he played a huge football game. He played physically, played smart, played disciplined and finished his plays correctly,” Macdonald said of Jobe on Monday. “I thought he played a great game.”

Finished his plays correctly. It’s something that Ull clearly didn’t do on Sunday. Could MacDonald insert Jobe in Woolen’s Place?

“You go out and produce, why wouldn’t we play you?” Said Macdonald.

Asked directly if he would be bench for Jobe for Jobe, MacDonald simply said, “We will see.”
