Zay Flowers is coming from the first 1,000 -meter campaign of the career, but Baltimore Ravens wanted to see these numbers expire.
Flowers delivered 1,059 meters on 74 catch with four matches before missing the season due to knee injury. Insulting manager Todd Monken wants to see the variable wide touch of the pigskin even more in 2025.
“We just have to get him the ball more,” Monken said on Tuesday. “I mean, it’s really. The problem is that we have a lot of these guys. He is an incredible football player.
“You can use him in a variety of roles to get him the ball, which allows the volume to go up. He is a guy in a volume. You can use him in novelty screens, get him the ball down the field, so I expect him to take another jump in terms of his consistency.”
On a running club is the question, how many more targets could flowers see than 116 last year? Flowers ended in 23. Seat in NFL in targets in 2024, directly behind Terry McLaurin (117) and Calvin Ridley (120). The ravens also added Deandre Hopkins during this season to go along with Pass-Catchers Rashod Bateman, Mark Andrews and Isaiah.
In terms of knee injuries, which kept flowers out of Ravens two games by season, he said he was ready to roll.
“My knee is great,” he said. “I feel 100%. I feel like I’m ready to go, feel like I’m ready for the season. No limits. I’m good.”
If he is healthy, the 24 -year -old could be for a 3 year year just as he will be eligible for an extension in 2026.
