Mike Vrabbel, head coach of New England Patriots, said on Wednesday that the team is aware of a recent viral video of broad receiver Stefon Diggs where he holds what seems to be pink material while on a boat with a number of women.
It is unclear what the content is or when the video was shot.
“It’s something we are aware of,” Vrabel told reporters at the beginning of his media’s candidacy according to the official copy of the team. “Obviously we want to make great decisions on and outside the field. We hope that with our time here on the field today, when we don’t have a script and we are on the calls, we are making great decisions.
Diggs signed a three -year contract for a maximum of $ 69 million with Patriots in March. He is now recovering from a torn ACL, which ended his one season with Houston Texans at the end of October after eight games.
Diggs was not present at the OTA meeting on Wednesday, but has been seen in the facilities of other parts of the offseason plan of Patriots when he returns from injury last year.
Vrabel was asked if he had talked to Diggs since the video went on a virus on Tuesday.
“I talk to our players every single day,” said Vrabel. “Those who are here and those who are not.”
NFL Network, Tom Pelissero, reported that the league had not commented on the video.
Four OTA Patriots’ practices are scheduled on May 30, 2-3. June and June 5.
